Glassbox 2.0 Live Demo
Glassbox is monitoring a sample JPetstore application live on our Application Server so people can see and kick the tires on a live Glassbox installation.
The Demo is refreshed automatically several times a day, but this is a live app so people can (and do sometimes)
periodically reset the data or edit the configurations. If the demo is not working, it will be reset, please try back later or look at the static version below.
Visit the Glassbox web-client , running live and monitoring a JPetstore sample app.
- Glassbox is running live and discovering any errors in real-time.
- Running live on Tomcat, but can run against WebSphere, WebLogic, OC4J, Glassfish, Resign, etc.
- Click a line in the summary and see the details.
Visit the JPetstore app, running live and being monitored by Glassbox.
- Generate some sample load, search for a new pet.
- Note, this version of JPetstore has several known and major issues:
- Clicking on the Lizard from the main page fails to connect to the DB and throws an ugly error.
- Selecting the first pet for any type tends to run a slow query. For example, select Dogs, then Bulldog the first item in dogs.
- Selecting Fish, then choosing a goldfish and and clicking on the goldfish product ID will cause a statement failure.
- In the connections panel of the Glassbox client, you can re-set the errors and warnings. If you wish to start with a clean slate, select the connection icon on the upper right of the client, click the eraser to re-set, and then generate your own errors.
Note: Some errors in JPetstore are caused naturally by the load generated and some were caused by intentional coding mistakes. In both cases Glassbox was never modified in any way to discover any errors, anything it detects is detected live and is not simulated.
