Glassbox is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Global R&D team.

What You Will Do 

  • Be part of a Data Core Team which is in charge implementation of all the data infrastructure of the organization
  • Build data architecture to support data requirements of the system and to support long-term data strategy
  • Define, design, and implement multiple data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor, analyze, maintain and improve data pipeline operation, performance and usability
  • Work with top-notch technologies like Kafka, Spark, and Clickhouse

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of Data experience:
    • Deep understanding and experience with big data technologies such as: Redshift, Hive, Presto, Clickhouse, Big query, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, etc.
    • Proven experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining big data pipelines using popular open-source frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, etc.)
  • 5+ years of Java experience:
    • With writing and designing of complex systems
    • Experience with scaled environments, performance troubleshooting, multi-threading, complex architectures
  • Experience with working in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)


  •  Independent, self-starter and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrives and enjoys working in startups and fast paced environment 
  • Highly motivated, enjoys working with data, with infrastructure and learning new technologies
